Default Beginner Books

Hi all,

I've been turned into a "reports coordinator" at work. While I'm very good
with Office XP, I have never used much of the programming features, macros,
VBA, etc. I have come to realization that I could make my life less
difficult if I could program somethings with macros and VBA. I have begun
to utilize macros but could use more help.

I would like to ask you all for some recommendations for good books to help
me get started. My main focus right now is Access and Excel.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Jim

Debra Dalgleish has a fairly comprehensive listing on this WebPage for
books dealing with Excel.

Of course, it's difficult to make specific recommendations, but you
can browse your local bookstore or library to find which books you may
feel comfortable using.

Here are some links that deal with tutorials.

http://support.microsoft.com/default...01/default.asp
http://www.itts.ttu.edu/documentatio...itemaptxt.html

In my opinion, the best learning environment is access to these
newsgroups.
