Hi all,
I'm setting up a form for users to submit details of telephone calls. I've tried using the Template Wizard with Data Tracking, but have found too many things that people don't like about it. What I want is for users to click a 'submit' button, and for the data from the form to be sent as the next row in a database. I have no idea where to start writing a macro that would do this. Also, as a secondary issue, I then want to be able to take an entry in the database and return it to its original format, ie in form style. I realise that all this would be easier in Access, but I don't have it on my computer. Thanks in advance for any help! |

Gayle,
If you go to the Home tab above and scroll down to recently added Microsoft Excel tips, about the 7th one down is Create User forms in Excel. I followed this link and this is where I learned to do the ones I needed that sound just like what you're trying to do. Hope this helps. ------------------------------------------------ ~~ Message posted from http://www.ExcelTip.com/ ~~ View and post usenet messages directly from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |
