How do you lock a cell?
with the sheet unprotected, select the area you want to lock, then do
Format=Cells, select the protection tab and make sure Locked is checked. Normally the default value is for the cell to be locked. You now have to protect the worksheet to have the locked property enforced. (tools= Protect Worksheet). -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy Diana wrote in message ...
