Hi mimi
I didn't get u r question its confusing... anyway i understood u r problem may be my answer is helpful for u check !!! step 1: 1st select full sheet then open format and last protection just click Locked then click ok( so all the cells are locked -full sheet) step 2: 2nd you go particular cell which u dont lock. select that cell and use same procedure go- format -cells - protection -click unlock -then ok step 3: if u want u can give background color of the cell also then go to TOOLS- Protection - protect sheet - click only Locked cell remove tick from unlocked cell - then click OK all the sheet should be locked except one cell which is unlocked. remainging sheet should be locked nobody can edit that sheet. cursor wont move also. try this and tell me u r opinion...... -- Name : K.Prasad Inventory Manager CRYSTALGALLERY DUBAI "mimi" wrote: I have locked all I need to be locked in my workbook except for one cell that does not let me look which is the # of invoice and I wanted look how do I do this |
