Default Lotus 123 conversion

We Lotus 123 Version 5 documents that we need to convert to Excel (97, 2000,
xp). Right now when we convert they need more adjustment afterward, and the
macros don't convert. Is there a 3rd party tool to convert these files?
Any other help?

Thanks!

The only external 1-2-3 file converter I know is:

http://www.dataviz.com/products/conversionsplus/

Whether it does a better job with formatting, etc. than Excel I do not know.
I also do not know whether this program handles the newer .123 file format.
The website is ambiguous in my opinion but a telephone call should solve
that. However I gather your concern is WK4 files so perhaps this isn't an
issue.

It does not convert macros however. Macros must be re-written in VBA.

After years of saying this I downloaded the program and tried it. It does
convert .123 to .XLS.

Lotus 1-2-3 macros were last supported in Excel 97. I think any conversion
will require some manual manipulation.
