Actually, there is a "BeforeSave" event. Paste the following code into
the ThisWorkbook object in the VBE:

Private Sub Workbook_BeforeSave(ByVal SaveAsUI As Boolean, Cancel As
Boolean)

End Sub

Or, just click workbook from the drop down and then BeforeSave.

Let me know if that doesn't work.
