Default Protect sheet with filter

Hi Everyone,
Does anybody know how to protect the cells of a filtered
worksheet and still allow the users to use the filter?
Is this possible at all?
I am working with Excel 2000 and need to post a filtered
worksheet in the web.
Also..is there a way to run macros once is posted in the
webpage?
Thanks for your advice
Gustavo
