Default Importing UTF-8 Encoded CSV Files. Problem

Hi

I am importing UTF-8 encoded CVS files into Excel. Excel shows odd
characters in cell A1 as it interprets the UTF file signature as real data.

The bottom line is that Excel does not recognise a UTF-8 file when it sees
one.

Is there a way to get Excel to ignore the UTF encoding signature and show
only the data in the first cell?

Thanks
Rob.
