Scanning & .chk extensions
Try opening one in your favorite text editor (notepad?).
You might be able to salvage bits and pieces (if you've lived a good life). I'm not sure how much would be salvagable from a file like excel, either. Art Rick wrote: Are the .chk files which result from scanning with instructions to 'click fix' be redeemed? I would like to hear comments, information and/or instructions on re using those files.
