Default Macros created in Excel 97

We have Macros that are created in Excel 97 that when
executed pulls information from a website that has to be
accurate. Since we were upgraded to Excel 2002, the
macro we copied over from the old system is acting very
strange.

We can run it one time and data is fine, then 2 hours
later, it will pull data from website and it is over 2
years old.

We have left a PC in place with Excel 97 on it as a
backup due to this data being critical to our needs.
When Excel 2002 macro gives us incorrect data when ran,
the old system is always correct, and every time. Only 2
times in the last 2 yrs, on the old system, data did not
come across, but the website was down.

Are there any issues with Macros that are created in
Excel 97 and ran in Excel 2002?

Thanks
Tami
