Default Import and transpose tab seperated data from text file

Dave

Thanks for the link and help however i came upon a problem and I was
wondering if you could help me please.

The code on Chip Pearson's web site worked, with a little fiddling, if
the data in the text file was in a single column. However when i ran it
with the unformatted text file it went through all the enteries putting
them into seperate cells on the same row.

I need a program that can read a value in a text file and when it comes
to a tab to stop reading (so it doesnt store the tab), it then needs to
write this data into cell B1. The program must then jump to the next
value in the text file and do the same but this time write it into cell
B2 and so on until it reads the value u1800, after which it writes the
next value in the text file into A1 and then A2 etc etc.

Many thanks

Phillip
