Default Macros disabled on all but one of 3 windows in excel

I have a spreadsheet with macro buttons that appear in
several worksheets within the spreadsheet. I used the
Windows, New Window option to have three views each of a
different worksheet within the same overall excel window.
The macro buttons have no effect in all but the first of
these windows. It was working on Friday. I'm using a few
more applications. Is this a memory issue? Has anyone
else run into this? I'm running XL2k W2k SP4 on a P4-2.4
Ghz with 1 GB RAM
