Default I need help with a formula or a sorting action

I am using XL 10.2.3 for Mac. I am using a spreadsheet to track scores
at a race track. We have 10 weeks of racing and I want to know the
total of the top 8 scores for each racer. There are 7 different
division of racers and each division has a different number of racers.
I tried sorting each row then taking the top 8 scores that way, but I
could only get one row to sort at a time. Got any suggestions?
