Default no more lines??

I am new to using Excel for my check book register and need help. I ran out
of lines on my register and can't figure out how to add more lines that carry
down the formula. When I downloaded the template it only gave me 100 lines
and figured it would just kep adding more but I figured wrong...what do I do?

This could fail for any of several reasons, such as the workbook or worksheet
being protected. But we'll start by trying the basics and you can tell us if
you get any error messages when trying.

Simply click on the row number of the first empty row below your last
registry entry and then choose Insert | Rows from the Excel menu bar.

If that works without error, then move the mouse pointer over the cell with
the formula in it and toward it's lower right corner until it changes from
the usual big white cross to a smaller, narrower + sign. Click and hold the
left mouse key and drag down to the new row you just created.

After you use Insert | Rows from the menu bar, you can use a shortcut to add
more before doing anything else. Press and hold the [Ctrl] key and press
the[Y] key once for each added row you'd like to insert. Once you've
inserted a bunch, you can drag the formula(s) from the last row where you
started the insert all the way down through the new rows/cells.
