protect a sort range
You could *pre*select your ranges ahead of time and assign them names,
something like "srt1", "srt2", etc. When it comes time to perform the sort, click in the name box and pick the one you want, which then becomes selected and ready for sorting, excluding everything else. -- HTH, RD --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please keep all correspondence within the NewsGroup, so all may benefit ! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Craig" wrote in message ... if a range should always be sorted as a group, is it possible to specify that and thus stop a part of the range from being selected and sorted ? |
