Default In a spreadsheet when I create a link the default path is wrong

When I create a link I want it to automatically go to \\mycpu\folders\other,
but it goes to \\mycpu\folders\same so I have to click the up dir once then
double click on the folder I want. These directories are on a network. I
have gone to file, properties and set the default there for my template, that
didn't work. Thank you.
