i am using excel 2003. when i bring up a sheet that already has filters on it
and using the dropdown select (ALL) it seems to filter certain rows in my sheet. the rows all have data in each cell the same as all the other rows. i thought that when you selected (ALL) it showed every line without filtering. |

Only if that were the only column being filtered. To clear the entire
Autofilter, just do Data Filter AutoFilter.......it toggles it off and on.
