Default Templates

Can someone please help me, I'm wanting to create and save templates in Excel.
I've no idea where to start!!
Can anyone give me some pointers or point me in the right directions for
some help?

Default Templates

Create the file and save it as a template file type, which is type .xlt. I
think it is near the bottom of the first group if you click the file type
dropdown.
