When I open an existing workbook there are no worksheets showing. There is
only a gray screen. If I open the Excel Application first, then open an existing workbook through File Open, then I can see the pages. |

Try the usual fix(es) for this problem. ToolsOptionsGeneral uncheck "Ignore other Applications" Exit Excel and try again If this doesn't work try to re-register Excel Close Excel first and On the Windows Taskbar 1) StartRun "excel.exe /unregserver"(no quotes)OK. 2) StartRun "excel.exe /regserver"(no quotes)OK. See the space between exe and /regserver You might have to designate a full path to excel.exe. In that case StartRun "C:\yourpath\excel.exe /regserver"(no quotes)OK. Thank you, Gord.
I tried the "Ignore Other Applications" option, but that didn't work. I will try your second suggestion. MIM "Gord Dibben" wrote: Mim Try the usual fix(es) for this problem. If you do File|Print Preview, do you see anything?
If yes, then maybe your worksheet window is just off the screen. Window|arrange|Tiled and resize it the way you like. Mim wrote: When I open an existing workbook there are no worksheets showing.
