I am new to Excel, so please bear with me as I explain my problem.
I am trying to create a cell that will automatically divide the number that I input by two. I know that if I enter "=A2/B2" in cell C, it will give me the answer. However, I need this number to be in cell A, rather then C. What I'm doing is copy and pasting a report from one program into Excel. The first meathod "=A2/B2" will not work as it will mess with the sequence of the copy and paste command. Basically I need to copy and past from the report, and have Excel divide cell "A" by two automatically. Is there ANY way to do this? Thanks in advance! |
