Excel often loses its End of File marker so that using Cntl PageDown or
CntlEnd does not go to the last cell in the file. Is there a way to reset this? |

Yes there is. Let's say that your actual data is A1:G100. Click on the row
number 101. The row number, not a cell. Do Ctrl - Shift - Down arrow. This selects all the rows from row 101 down. Click on Edit - Delete. Now click on the column letter H. Do Ctrl - Shift - Right arrow. Click on Edit - Delete. Now you MUST save the file. Now check Ctrl - End and see where it goes. On some versions of Excel it may be necessary to save the file, close the file, open the file. HTH Otto "Mary Barnich-Tampa" <Mary wrote in message ... Mary
You can reset the used range manually as Otto has pointed out or you can use a macro. See Debra Dalgleish's site for instructions and code. http://www.contextures.on.ca/xlfaqApp.html#Unused Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Mon, 19 Jun 2006 09:18:02 -0700, Mary Barnich-Tampa <Mary wrote: Excel often loses its End of File marker so that using Cntl PageDown or CntlEnd does not go to the last cell in the file.
