Default clicking on "My Computer" does not find my Template just created

I previously had excel 2002 on my computer and just loaded excel 2003. I kept
the old version also. I recently created a Template and used the "Save As". I
clicked on Template as the "file type". But the default location does not
come up as Template folder. Even when I type it in manually ie...C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Templates it stores it ok but when I open a new
workbook and tell Excell to look in "MY COMPUTER", it's not there. I tried
going to TOOL, OPTIONS, GENERAL TAB and type in C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Templates under the default path but that doesn't work either.
