Is there such a function that counts the amount of cells with
information in them. For example right now Im trying to find this so I
can find an average. So Im wanting to divide the autosum by the number
of cells with information. The numbers that make up the autosum have
blank cells in between them, so i cant just count the number of cells;
i need the number of cells with information on them.
I hope you understand what Im asking for. Tell me if u want me to
explain more.

Use the CountA(range) function. Its kind of weird though, autosum should
ignore blank cells and only go for numbers. Unless you are not dealing
with numbers?

Thanks that worked. Now is it possible to add up the values of cells but
only if a corresponding cell has information on it. For example i have
two columns of lists. The left column has every cell filled up with a
number, but the right column has a few blanks. How can I add up the
cells of the left column that only have a number in the right column?
