Default Can't work in excel

I am having this problem in excel that I can't select a single item, it wants
to highlight everything, I can't type etc. I have to go to another computer
to work on
my spreadsheets. Any help would be appreciated. Also about the same time I
started experiencing this problem I'm having a general freeze up randomly and
I have to C-A-D and click task twice before it clears

hi,
if you have to go to another pc to work in spreadsheets and do not have the
problems you described, then the problem is with your pc not excel. i have no
way of knowing for sure but it smells suspiciously like a virus. you need a
pc geek not an excel geek.

sorry
