Default Cannot Shift Object off Sheet

Hi

Just tried to hide some columns on a spreadsheet (XL2003) and a message
displayed " Cannot shift objects off sheet ".

There are no objects on the sheet.

I went into goto and Special and selected objects and it come up with no
objects found.

Is there something I am missing?

Thanks very much.

Steve
