XLS comparison
The compare Side by Side feature in Excel 2003 is misleading. I'm attempting
to compare 2 XLS workbooks using the compare Side by Side but it does not highlight the diffs. Unless I'm overlooking an enable step, this is misleading to end users and shouldn't even be labled Compare Side by Side, but more like "Open docs Side by Side", sicne the end user has to visually determine the diffs themselves without assistance from Excel. 3rd party apps also display diffs in binary, so not very useful. |

XLS comparison
If detailed comparison between worksheets is something you have to do
regularly, then you may be interested in Jim Cone's fine commercial Add-in. It really gives you all the details. It's called XL Companion, and is available at http://www.realezsites.com/bus/primitivesoftware/ Vaya con Dios, Chuck, CABGx3 "Pick" wrote: The compare Side by Side feature in Excel 2003 is misleading.
