Default Multiple lines of text in a cell

I want to have multiple lines of text in a cell. I format the cell to have
word wrap turned on. Is there a way to manually insert a new line in the
cell instead of having Excel automatically wrap?

Thanks,

tk,

Where yo want the end of your line type Alt-Enter which will start a
new line in the same cell.
