Default How do I define column width that allows multiple lines of text?

In Microsoft Excel, I am trying to set a column width. I want it to be so
that when I type something, it doesn't go ACROSS the page, but BELOW after a
certain length in the column. I want to be able to see all the information I
enter into the cell. (i.e. I want the cell to be able to take more than one
row worth of text - after it is entered, it goes down to the next line
instead of across or hidden.) How do I do this??
