Default Protection with working dropdown lists.

What I am trying tp do is protect a worksheet but allow drop down list to
work properly. What is the best way to accomplish this?

FormatProtection
uncheck Locked for your dropdown cells

I don't think so, it's work. I also facing this problem. I uncheck locked my
dropdown cells, still could not open dropdown cell.
