Default Excel 2003

In Excel 2003, at the top where you see file, edit, view, there is supposed
to be a data there but it is not. Any hints on how to get the drop down menu
up there?

Right click the menu bar: select Customize
Open the Command tab; in the Categories window click on Built-In Menu;
locate View in right hand window and drag it to the menu bar.
best wishes
