Is there anyway of pivoting text. I have 2 columns, a sample of which is
below: Column 1 Column 2 ACID SHOP ETCH1 ACID SHOP ETCH3 ACID SHOP ETCH4 HAND FORGE HF31 HAND FORGE HF32 HAND FORGE HF5 14 PRESS 14PE 14 PRESS 14P 8 PRESS 8PH 8 PRESS 8PP AREA 9 DRESSCO AREA 9 DRESSTI AREA 9 DRESSEN From this I am wanting to have the following results: Column 1 Column 2 Column 3 and so on ACID SHOP HAND FORGE 14 PRESS ETCH 1 HF31 14PE ETCH 3 HF32 14P ETCH 4 HF5 This is easy for numbers using pivot table but would like to use the same princaple but for text? the spreadsheet is very large and I dont want to do it manually. The spreadshet is exported from Access, so if the is an easly way in access please let me know. Regards Mark |
