If I have a master list of 800 accounts and a smaller list of 200 accounts,
how would I go about extracting the data from Spreadsheet A to Spreadsheet B for just those 200 accounts? Spreadsheet A containing detailed account information, Spreadsheet B containing just Account Names. Both spreadsheets with a common field, "Account Name." Thanks |

You could use VLOOKUP to get the info you want.

If Account names are in leftmost column (not necessarily A), use VLOOKUP

Start the Advanced Filter on Sheet B
Reference the master list as the List range. For the Criteria range, select the small list, including the heading. Select a cell on Sheet B as the Copy to range. jayrthomas wrote: If I have a master list of 800 accounts and a smaller list of 200 accounts, how would I go about extracting the data from Spreadsheet A to Spreadsheet B for just those 200 accounts?
