This may sound like a macro issue but it is actually a resources issue....I
think. I have an excel file at work that has a macro that is fairly involved but does not really do anything that complex. At work I can run the macro and it takes about 7 seconds to complete. Then if needed I can run it again and again with the same process time. At home I run it the first time which takes about 7 seconds to complete. The next time it takes about 1.5 minutes. After it runs the first time and completes, then to just insert a line takes about 4 seconds. My computer at home is a Compaq Presario 2.4 GHz with 512 MB memory. Can anyone help me with this issue? Is there something I have not setup properly on the home pc memory or not setup properly with the excel? Thank you for your help. Steven |
