Default Converting date format

How can I convert a date (dd/mm/yy) like 14/12/05
to show up as (yymmdd) i.e. 051214 and vice versa?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Brian

Custom format yymmdd
if the value is 51214 with a leading zero looking like 051214
then you need a formula or datatext to columns, step 3 under column data
format, select date and YMD

Hi!

Just use a custom format.

Select the cell(s) in question

GotoFormatCellsNumber tabCustom

In the teeny tiny box below Type:, enter:

yymmdd (or whatever format you'd like)

OK out
