When I try to go into the INDEX sub-window of both my Word and Excel Help
function, I get a blank window. Oddly, the "CONTENTS" sub-window seems to
work just fine. Also, it used to work.

Did you get any help on your blank window?

When I OPEN msWord (2003) I get two windows, one of which is blank!
The other of which is Word.

Any thoughts?

It gets worse!

I just uninstalled msWord completely.
And then RE-installed it - and behold! the same problem. :[
Whenever I open msWord (Office 2003) it opens an extra blank window
which has to be closed before I can work on the msWord window proper.

I then ran "sfc /scannow" which is supposed to copy up any windows
files from my WindowsXP (SP2) disk.

But STILL the same problem. An extra, blank window whenever I open
msWord!

In as sense it doesnt matter - but this is a pretty new installation
of WindowsXP.

Do you think my Registry is corrupted?!
If so what should I do about it?
