Default applying formula

I want to sum only some of the cells in a column, base on the date those
payments are due. For example, add up all the bills over 60 days old.

Pat,

Try:

=SUMIF(H1:H12,"<"&TODAY()-60,I1:I12)

Adjust to suit your own ranges.
