Default Validation - Drop Down Lists with tiny text

I am using Validation (Drop Down List) to constrain users input.
Unfortunately the list displays with a font size about 50% of that of the
rest of the sheet and is difficult to see.

Does anyone know how the font size displayed in a Validatin List Drop Down
Box can be changed?

Many thanks.

Maybe the tip at Debra Dalgleish's site will help:
http://www.contextures.com/xlDataVal08.html#Font
