Not sure what happened, but i can no longer use the group function for rows
or coumns in one of the worksheets in a file. Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks!

Is that worksheet protected?

Any chance you have multiple sheets selected? (Look for [Group] in the title
bar.)

When you click on Tools|Protection, do you see "Protect Sheet" or "Unprotect
sheet"?

You may notice that lots of icons on the standard and formatting toolbar are
disabled, too.

Do you see [Shared] in the titlebar?

If the workbook is shared, there are lots of features that are disabled.
