Default CTRL Find is preventing me from navigating around my worksheet

On my work computer in Excel only, once I have CTRL-F up on screen, I can't
move about my worksheet until I close the box down and then I have to do a
'CTRL-F' repeatedly. On my own computer I am able to move about the screen
with the box still up.
