Default change 800 to 8.00

Is there an easy way to move the decimal point other than adding a column and
dividing by 100 then deleting wrong numbers?

THanks,
Donna

Default change 800 to 8.00

Put 100 in a cell copy it, select the range you want to divide and do
editpaste special and select divide
delete cell with 100, only one extra cell used To get 8.00 out of 800 you
need to use number format like
0.00 or else it displays as 8

Default change 800 to 8.00

Enter 100 into any blank cell
Copy that cell
Select your range of data to convert
Select "Paste Special"
Choose the option for "Divide"
Click OK
Delete the 100 that you entered earlier

You may also need to adjust the formatting of your cells to show 2 decimal
places.
