Is there a way to apply conditional protection to a cell, just like the same
way I apply conditional formatting? I need a cell to be protected from being changed if a condition is true. Is it possible? |

You could use event code to pick up the condition and protect the cell and apply sheet protection. See David McRitchie's site for examples of event code. http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/event.htm Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Thu, 30 Mar 2006 07:18:02 -0800, Billy wrote: Is there a way to apply conditional protection to a cell, just like the same way I apply conditional formatting?
