I'm using an advanced filter (data filter advanced filter) to filter a
worksheet based on the value of a dropdown box. I FINALLY have it so it will
show the right data depending on the value of the dropdown. The dropdown is
getting its data from a few hidden cells in the worksheet (all data is
internal). The problem is that the results don't refresh when the another
item in the dropdown is selected.
Can someone please give me detailed instructions on how I can get the
results to automatically refresh when another option is chosen from the
dropdown? Currently it will filter correctly when the filter is first
applied, but then it ignores the value in the dropdown. (The more detail in
the answer the better. :-) )

An advanced filter doesn't automatically refresh. You can reapply the
filter manually, or programmatically. There are sample files here that
use programming:
