Default Removing non text characters from spreadsheet

I am trying to remove a string of asterisks *** from a series of worksheets.
How do I indicate in the find box that I am looking for asterisks. I have
searched Help, and cannot find.

Thank you both, but in my case, I had already tried that and it does not
work. Maybe the other text in the cell makes a difference. In almost all
cases there are 3 asterisks and then text up tight. EX ***TSH(Thyroid
Stimulatin Hormone).
Oops! I was putting ~*** in the box, I just tried ~* and it worked. Thank
you!
