Default Link multiple worksheets

I have three worksheets , checking acct, profit loss, money invested.

The profit loss sheet has three categories of two columns a piece
profit or loss and the categories are flip, rental, and marketing

What I would like to do is

when I input a withdrawal or deposit into the checking acct I would
like the program to ask me if it is a referral, flip, or rental
withdrawal or deposit.

Then I would like it to extract that information to the profit loss
worksheet to the corresponding column.

I apologize for multiple posts, if I can explain this better by
emailing a copy of the workbook to you please private message me that
information

Thanks
