I'm trying to change the margins on an excel workbook template that was
downloaded from the web. It won't let me change anything? Is this possible to do? |

![]() Is it stored as a template? If so, try saving a copy of the file to your desktop, make your changes in that file, then save the file back as a template overriding the original already there. If not, it's probably password protected. Some files that I have downloaded from Microsoft only require you to hit enter when unprotecting the file. -- keithl816 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ keithl816's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=21287 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=523170 |

As Keith said, the fact that it's protected does NOT mean there's a
password. Just hit Enter while leaving the password blank. I set up sheets this way all the time, just to protect them from ME. :-) "Drexxyl" wrote in message ...
