Fixing columns widths
I have a spreadsheet that gets data populated into it via MS Query. After the query completes, the columns seem to format themselves to a width that conforms to the widest data value. Even with column headings wider than the widest data value, the columns will often time be reduced in width to be narrower than the column heading; ignoring the width of the column heading and only considering the width of the data returned in the results. Is there a simple way to save off the blank spreadsheet (pre MS Query results) so that it retains the desired column widths after query results are pulled in? -- mjennings ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mjennings's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=32495 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=522853 |
