Default Chart help...

Apologies if this a dumb question (first time posting on these
boards)...

I have a compound column chart and I want to add another series, except
I want the other series to sit next to the compound column, i.e.

1
1 3
1 3
1 3
2 3
2 3
2 3
------

I can get the 3rd series to appear as a line chart with no problems,
but whenever I try to turn it into a bar chart it moves into the
compound column!!

(ps I am trying to show Budget P&L next Actual P&L, where the Actuals
is broken down into types)

Is this possible or do I have to live with no extra column?

4 7 6 6 1 12
3 8 2
2 4 3
5 5 4

Enter your data as above, select all of it and create stacked bar
chart. The 7, 6 and 12 appear as single bars next to the stacks.
