i have a col. as a price sheet and i want to take the whole row and reduce
the prices by 36% how do i do it

This is one way to do it

Put 0.64 in an empty cell
Copy that cell
Select column of prices
Edit Paste Special Multiply OK

In some empty cell, enter 0.64 and copy it (ctrl+c).
Highlight your prices and Edit Paste Special, select Multiply and click OK.
