Default Lines inserted into Excel Spreadsheet NO Longer Visible

A spreadsheet I created a couple years ago, had lines I inserted into the
worksheet, segmenting it into 5 sections. The lines were red in color. They
have dissappeared? and I cannot view them or insert them again. I have done
nothing, have no viruses but the lines have dissappeared.

Does anyone have any idea where the lines went or why they do not appear any
longer. I use MS Office 2003.

If you did not save the worksheet then the lines are gone.
Are all of the line numbers running sequentially or are any missing
-if some are missing you may have hidden rows, or
you may have a filtered list (drop down arrows at top)
You may be looking in the wrong worksheet or the wrong workbook,
the wrong directory, or have restored from an earlier backup.

In any case Excel does not keep track of what you do..
