Yes there is a formula:
If you have a column of numbers (say column A) and want to know which are "near" to others: 1. sort the column ascending 2. in B2 enter =ABS(A2-A1) and copy down Just by looking down column B you can find values that are close to each other. The correspond to very samll values of B -- Gary's Student "dune" wrote: How do I find similar or "near enough" numbers in a column. Is there a formula to show these numbers? ( not very well explained I suspect) |
